Investment Management
Investment Management in Oklahoma City.
A disciplined six-step process for managing your portfolio — built around your goals, your taxes, and your life. No commissions. No conflicts. No surprises.
Your portfolio should reflect your life — not a sales quota.
Most investors have never been told the truth about how their portfolio is being managed. They do not know what they are paying. They do not know who is making the decisions. They do not know whether those decisions serve their interests or someone else’s.
At Advance Financial Lighthouse, we manage portfolios as a fiduciary financial advisor — legally and ethically obligated to act in your best interest. Every recommendation, every trade, every allocation decision is made for you. Our process is disciplined, our pricing is transparent, and our philosophy is grounded in decades of evidence rather than the latest sales pitch.
Investment management here is never a standalone service. It is integrated with your comprehensive financial plan — coordinated with your tax strategy, your retirement income plan, your estate, and your risk management. One fiduciary team. One coordinated strategy. Built around your life.
Six Steps. One Coordinated Strategy.
Define Investment Objectives
We establish your risk tolerance, return requirements, liquidity needs, time horizon, and any ethical or tax constraints — the bedrock of every decision.
Asset Allocation Strategy
Using modern portfolio theory and forward-looking capital market assumptions, we construct a strategic allocation across equities, fixed income, alternatives, and cash.
Security Selection & Due Diligence
We rigorously evaluate individual securities, funds, and managers — analyzing fundamentals, costs, risk-adjusted returns, and alignment with your portfolio mandate.
Portfolio Construction
Approved investments are blended with precision — balancing diversification, correlation, tax efficiency, and cost minimization to build a cohesive, resilient portfolio.
Ongoing Monitoring & Rebalancing
Markets move. We monitor your portfolio continuously, rebalancing when allocations drift, harvesting tax losses, and responding to material changes in your life or the markets.
Performance Review & Reporting
You receive clear, transparent reporting on returns, benchmark comparisons, fees, and progress toward your goals — keeping you fully informed and in control at all times.
A good portfolio is not the one with the highest return last year. It is the one your client can stay invested in for the next twenty.

Common Questions About
Investment Management.
What does fiduciary investment management mean?
Fiduciary investment management means we are legally and ethically obligated to act in your best interest at all times. Every recommendation, every trade, every allocation decision is made for you, not for a commission, a quota, or a product sponsor. The fiduciary standard is the highest standard of care in the financial industry, and it governs every aspect of how we manage portfolios.
How is your investment management different from a broker or robo-advisor?
A broker is typically held to a suitability standard, which allows them to recommend products that pay them more even if a lower-cost option would serve you equally well. A robo-advisor offers algorithm-driven allocation but no relationship, no behavioral coaching, and no coordination with the rest of your financial life. We are fiduciary, fee-transparent, and integrated with your full financial plan, including taxes, retirement, estate, and risk management.
Do you have minimum account requirements?
No. Advance Financial Lighthouse has no account minimums for investment management. We work with clients across a range of asset levels, and our process is the same regardless of portfolio size: define objectives, build an appropriate allocation, monitor continuously, and report transparently.
How often do you rebalance the portfolio?
We monitor your portfolio continuously and rebalance when allocations drift outside your target ranges, when life events change your objectives, or when material market shifts warrant an adjustment. Rebalancing is also coordinated with tax-loss harvesting opportunities when they exist in taxable accounts. We do not rebalance on a fixed calendar schedule, because doing so often triggers unnecessary taxable events.
Is your investment philosophy active or passive?
Our philosophy is evidence-based, grounded in decades of academic research on markets and investor behavior. We favor low-cost, broadly diversified portfolios as the foundation and use active strategies only where the evidence supports them, such as in less efficient asset classes, tax management, and certain alternative allocations. We do not chase fads, time markets, or recommend products that generate hidden compensation for the firm.
