
Kathy’s passion is to help others through financial planning, investment management, a gratitude attitude and abundance mindset. She regards our clients as family and works hard to ensure that everything runs smoothly all while providing exceptional service. With over 27 years since opening her practice, she believes in earning trust through hard work, credibility, and authenticity. Over the years she has frequently appeared in media outlets such as Black Enterprise, Journal Record and The Oklahoman.
Kathy has had a unique journey and perspective than most. She grew up poor as the oldest of eight children. She became a single parent after a financially devastating divorce. She has experienced the loss of her teen-age daughter and has overcome a chronic health issue. She forged her way through economic life events, adversities and triumphs. Many of these experiences changed her life, defined her purpose to become an example beacon to others. Her personal mission for those seeking change - is help empower people financially to never give up no matter what. And also encourage them to believe it is possible to break their economic bondage of scarcity thinking.
Kathy is an alum of Southern Nazarene University with a BS in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Psychology. She is a Registered Financial Consultant and holds the Series 7, Series 65, 63, 26 and Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses. Kathy is committed to ongoing professional education and is currently pursuing her CFP designation. She is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts, and the Association of African American Financial Advisors.
Outside of the office, Kathy is an active member of the Oklahoma City community. She educates and motivates young people and women to take control of their money and become the captain of their financial life. You can find her on Facebook as the Administrator of Savvy Women Rock - Ages 40 and up. There she helps guide women to ask questions, find solutions and think strategically to become savvier about an array of life subject matters. She.is a member of Leadership Oklahoma City XV, a member of the Beta Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a graduate mother of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Kathy lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with her husband Bob of over thirty-seven years. She has three grown children, a grandmother of three - plus two grand dogs, Polo and Sky Blue. She enjoys traveling, documentaries, gardening, reading, entertaining, music, and researching genealogy.
