Meet Kathy Williams CEO of Advance Financial Lighthouse. As a Registered Principal and Family Wealth Manager, she has been helping clients plan for their financial goals and retirement for over 27 years..Kathy has an easy going and open communication style. She uses simple words to help you understand instead of complicated industry jargon and graphs and charts. When you become a client, you are a member of the family.
Kathy believes in earning your trust through her hard work, credibility and authenticity. She has a unique perspective and experience than most. She grew up poor as the oldest of eight children. She became a single parent after a divorce during the very beginning of her career. She forged her way through adversities, struggles and triumphs especially after the loss of her teen-age daughter. Her experiences have highlighted her strengths which has helped her become more empathetic and connect with a diverse group of clients. She has overcome many personal and financial obstacles.
Kathy is an alum of Southern Nazarene University with a BS in Organizational Leadership and a minor in Psychology. She is a Registered Financial Consultant and holds the Series 7, Series 65, and Life, Accident & Health Insurance licenses. Kathy is currently pursuing her CFP designation and the Certified Divorce Financial Analyst designation. She is a member of the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants, the Institute for Divorce Financial Analysts and the Association of African American Financial Advisors.
Outside of the office, Kathy is an active member of the Oklahoma City community. She’s a member of Leadership Oklahoma City XV, a member of the Beta Sigma Chapter of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority and a graduate mother of Jack and Jill of America, Inc.
Kathy lives in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with her husband Bob of thirty-seven years. She has three children, a grandmother of three-plus two grand dogs, Polo and Sky. She enjoys watching documentaries, gardening, reading, entertaining friends, music, and researching genealogy.
